Services

Running our own data centre, X-Net provides Internet services needed by most businesses such as hosting, global domain names registration, public sector .gov.uk domain registration, ADSL and fixed line connectivity, through to bespoke architecture for more complex needs.

Web applications

We continue to provide our e-mango branded Membership Platform for membership organisations.

This integrated software platform enables organisations to run a website that can cater for online joining, subscription fees, access to member content, booking events, and a searchable director of members amongst many other features.

  • Integrated  – the Membership CRM and web site are driven by the same database.
  • Web-based  – no “client” application software to install, just needs a web browser.
  • CRM  – the membership management function relating to all contact details and functions.
  • CMS  – the Content Management System to update all aspects of the web site.
  • Hosted  – this means your staff can access the system from anywhere with Internet access.
  • Managed  – means that the complete solution is looked after by e-mango staff.

Clients such as the British Plastics Federation, London Court of International Arbitration and British Compressed Air Society are using our solutions to manage their website content and membership database.

X-Net also provides small scale websites to town and parish councils, to host their minutes and agenda documents, annual financial reports, and general information on their local area.

Complex Managed Services

X-Net has business clients and Government dep[artments that require more bespoke hosting and management of their data and online services.

This can range from: businesses wanting their email and intranet services being hosted in our data centre; software companies want their online applications managed on our infrastructure with the ability to spin up more systems as their own clients base increases; and also government agencies that have multiple microsites and online forms who need a closer personal working relationship.

Architectures have included Windows or Linux servers, Node.js, Microsoft SQL Servers, Oracle database servers, Akamai or CloudFlare fronted access, standby configurations, VMware platform, Veeam backup and dedicated firewalls for example.

5G SA

X-Net has unique access to a 5G testbed that spans across the Dorset Innovation Park, to the Lulworth firing ranges, and down to the Dorset coastline that allows for use cases around urban simulation and sensors, cleared airspace and sea access.

The nature of this capability can only come through further discussions of your requirements.

G-CLOUD

If you are a Public Sector client, many of our services can be found on the government G-Cloud framework.
